First Steps in the New World

This painting is supposed to be a beginning of new artwork series of mine, showing an interaction of a human – in a kind of childish way – with the largest element of the planet.
It has also a metaphorical meaning - telling the story about steps and actions in our changing world nowadays. They remind me of unsure first steps, which aren't even made on a solid ground but on a wavy, changing surface of reality. As if I would try to walk on water. But it is also about "testing the waters" and learning to trust the outer world again
