This painting is inspired by a swimming pool in San Jose, Costa Rica. As I was there with my partner we visited this swimming pool just before departure to refresh ourselves. The water was totally cold, but as you see I found also some inspiration.
The painting is all about contrasts - complementary colours, cold and warm, water and metal, order and chaotic disruptions... Maybe you find some more?
