I watched these waves at the Caribbean coast of Costa Rica, a small village called Tortuguero. Because of the strong currents and almost permanent waves the swimming was prohibited, but the kind the water was formed was exceptional. I found the wildness of the place quite unusual as well – mostly the Caribbean Sea is associated with something calm and heavenly. But even if not for humans, the place is a paradise for sea turtles, where they nest and bring new life to world.
