Series "Observing"
In this series, the ocean is shown as a living being. Big, deep, hiding another life and beautiful. The "Observing" series is a search for one's own soul through interaction with the most powerful element, not subject to technological changes, external factors, powerful and sincere. I continue this series, and as I look more and more at the ocean, my works increase in size: I see more and more details, harmonious combinations and features. And I assume that the viewer will "read" my paintings also carefully in order to enjoy all the nuances.
Series "Storytelling"
The story of the journey of boats or buoys on the surface of the ocean. The collision of a large element and a fragile object that can slide on the waves and not harm itself. A metaphorical description of our life, in which we move from one wave to another, gliding on the surface of this reality.
Series "Interacting"
This series shows my personal intimate relationship with the ocean and its psychological impact. I come to the sea in times of despair, pain, emptiness, tiredness, anxiety – it takes me in its arms, takes me as I am and fills me with life. The sea, seen as a symbol for the unconsciousness by C. G. Jung, helps me with self reflection, self discovery and self healing.
Series "Thalasso

“Thalasso” takes its name from the German term for thalassotherapy, a therapeutic approach rooted in the healing properties of the sea. Today, we are overwhelmed by an overflow of information —fragmented, contradictory, and incomplete, turning our consciousness into chaos and disrupting inner calm.
Seeking to create a sanctuary, “Thalasso” offers a refuge where visitors can pause, find stillness, and reconnect with their authentic selves. This immersive, non-digital exhibition shall be a place of peace, encouraging a sense of renewal.
The exhibition features:
- three-dimensional hanging of realistic oil paintings with underwater motives (walls and ceiling)
- dimmed lighting and lamps with underwater light effects
- sound recordings from underwater (own recordings from diving)
- room scent with sea smell (own creation)
- comfortable furniture for sitting and relaxing to achieve muscle relaxation.
The underwater world remains one of the few environments largely untouched by human interference, where one can experience a release from informational overload and the relief of sensory reduction.
Across many cultures and religions, water represents life, energy, and spiritual renewal. On an individual, ontogenetic level, water is also deeply significant as the first element we encounter in the amniotic fluid, evoking a primal sense of safety and comfort.
On a scientific level, “Thalasso” is inspired by the Blue Mind Theory, which explores the positive effects of blue spaces and aquatic environments on human well-being and mental health. This theory suggests that connection to water can promote relaxation, improve mood, and foster a state of calm.
